Ten Good Reasons Why It Could Be A Bad Idea To Publish Your Life Story

One - Well, people have their own lives to deal with, and while you could be a rockstar, a movie star, anything, people probably don't want to read about you talking about yourself and how hard your life was.

Two - A good chance is that people who do read it are stalkers.

Three - If your life was so bad that others should hear about it, why would you want to live through it again while writing it?

Four - There's a pretty good chance that something you write WILL cause drama. You'll either have stolen, lied, plagarized, had an affair...something will bring you down. Nobody is a saint.

Five - Your writing your life story, how do you remember what happened when you were a baby? You either asked your mom to give you exact details or you lied.

Six - Celebrities are constantly complaining about publicity. So go publish a book all about you. Yeah, great idea.

Seven - Going with what was said in number one, you have to pay for it to be published and that only serves for you to pay to be laughed at or pay to be stalked.

Eight - Have you noticed but very rarely do biographies and autobiographies are published in paperback. Nobody likes hardcover, you can't relax and read, and they come with those highly annoying covers that catch on your clothes and fingers.

Nine - If your married, it can be very awkward to have to talk about your husband or wife in the book. You won't make money if you only write good things about them, because people love marriage troubles. Yet you won't be very welcome at home if you describe personal issues.

Ten - Nobody reads them.
