This is the Hit Them Up program. Reporters, like myself, randomly stop people out on the streets and follow them for precisely one hour. We record, report, and re-asses what the subject does in that one hour. It's been a fairly successful project so far, our readers seem to love it. One thing is apart from the begining questions, our reporters are not allowed to interfere with the report or talk to the subject.

Today's report is by Hayden Ross.

March 1st, 2008, the hour of 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The subject for this hour is Mackenzie, a fifteen year old school girl. Mackenzie is causcassion, brunnette, and of average height. I came across Mackenzie precisely on the nose of 3pm, just leaving the school. After asking some privacy questions, and getting her permission, I started my report.

From 3:00pm until 3:11pm, Mackenzie walked home from school. She was alone, she did wave hello to a few friends on her way to her house, and yelled "See you later!" at one girl who was driving by in a yellow car. Mackenzie listened to her green iPod. I could hear something that sounded like a fast beat pop tune.

Around 3:12 is when Mackenzie reached her home, which was a mobile home of the light blue colour, situated in a trailer park in a good area of town.
After she was inside, until around 3:30 Mackenzie dropped her backpack off, put her books on her bed, and changed into plain jeans and a black t-shirt that read 'I'm Totally Tripping Balls!' on it. Her bedroom wasn't tidy, but it wasn't disgusting, she seemed to be one of those neutral teens, not hardcore and yet not a goody good. She set all her stuff around until she decided at 3:30pm to start making dinner.

3:30pm, dinner, which seems to be some form of hamburgers, although they are a bit mishapen. They smell delightful, however. It takes about twenty minutes until Mackenzie is finished with them, and decides to dump them out into the trash and call in for a pizza to be delivered instead.

3:50pm rolls around as Mackenzie seems to be finished with cooking and is now watching television. Some sort of cartoon is just finishing, she scoffs at how fast the credit go by as she attempts to read who the voices were, and by my observations, seems to have only made herself sick.


4:00pm and the report is finished. I give my thanks to Mackenzie, who laughed and said she wishes she could have offered me a hamburger.
